They provide support groups for LGBTQ young people ranging from 8-25 years old. They also offer 121 support for young people who need extra assistance accessing their service, or other services. Additionally, they offer parent support groups, for any parents struggling their children being LGBTQ.
As a team BeYou offers schools, NHS staff and other organisational bodies the opportunity to take part in training with them, in order to prepare these bodies for young LGBTQ people accessing their services. They also provide assemblies and workshops for young people in and out of school, in order to educate further about the experiences of LGBTQ people.
Support groups are there to offer peer support as well as support from the facilitators of the group to young people. Their team attends trainings with providers for mental health support and specific training regarding LGBTQ centred issues, such as gender transition and coming out.
