Their mission is to provide children, families, carers and professionals with advice, training and practical tools to prevent bullying and protect young lives.
They do this through:
*Giving advice - providing children, families and professionals with advice and information to keep children safe
*Delivering training - providing a range of training opportunities for professionals working with children and young people to support the provision of safe and nurturing environments
Working directly with children, parents, carers and professionals with the following programmes:
*ZAP workshops for bullied children - a free one day workshop for children and young people aged 9-16 who have experienced bullying and their parents or carers
*RISE workshops - held in the summer holidays in England and Wales to support children with the transition to secondary school
They work through a variety of communication channels, partners, campaigns and events to raise awareness of bullying and how to stop it.
