Offering support and refuge accommodation to women, children & young people experiencing, or who have experienced, domestic abuse.
They offer:
*Advocay – service works with highest risk women to implement safety plans and represent women's views at multi agency meetings
*CEDAR – (Children experiencing domestic abuse recovery) run parallel Children & Young People and mothers groups, with those who are no longer in abusive relationships – to help them better understand the effects of domestic abuse and support them to better deal with emotions
*Children & Young People's team – supporting children and young people, primarily those who are still living in abusive households – safety planning, representing their views, helping them to understand family dynamics and understand the importance of self-care
*Freedom Programme – 12 week group programme to develop women's understanding of tactics used by abusers
*Refuge Services – house / flat accommodation
*Outreach – service where support workers travel to rural areas to help women with difficulties accessing city centre service
